Here are answers to questions we frequently receive about the myfans affiliate program.
■ Registration and accounts
Q. How long does it take for an affiliate or media registration to be approved?
A. Approval is normally completed within 24 hours of your application.
Q. Can one person hold multiple affiliate accounts?
A. No. Each person may hold only one affiliate account.
However, you can register multiple media properties under a single account.
Q. Can a creator register as an affiliate and promote their own work?
A. Yes, this is allowed.
■ Promotional materials and how to post them
Q. Are there banners or a material kit for affiliates?
A. These are currently in preparation. Please wait a little longer until they become available.
Q. How can I obtain materials to use for promotion? Does myfans distribute official materials?
A. You may only use materials provided to you with the creator's permission.
An official material distribution feature is planned for a future release. Please wait a little longer until it becomes available.
Q. May I use a creator's post thumbnails or profile images for promotion (such as in a CTA)?
A. Because the answer depends on how the material is used and where it is posted, we are unable to provide individual guidance. Please refrain from using any material without the creator's permission.
Q. May I save, repost, or edit thumbnails, images, or sample videos from a creator's page and use them as advertising materials?
A. No, this is not permitted.
Q. May I quote a work's description text in my promotion?
A. Yes, quoting the description text is fine.
Q. May I post sample videos on social media such as X (formerly Twitter)?
A. Sample videos cannot be used at this time.
In the future, they will become available only for works by creators who have permitted the use of sample videos.
Q. May I quote-post a video that a creator posted on X and place an affiliate link in a reply to it?
A. Yes, this is fine.
Q. May a different account spread posts from a social media account already registered with the affiliate program, for example by quote-posting them?
A. Yes, this is fine.
Q. May I use the myfans logo on an affiliate link button placed on my own site?
A. We do not currently provide logo materials. Please refrain from using the logo until official materials become available.

Q. Can commission rates change?
A. If a creator has set their own commission rate, the rate set by that creator will apply.
Q. Where can I check the commission rate a creator has set individually?

Q. If a purchase is made through a link for a product whose affiliate setting has been turned off, will a commission be earned?
